Terms of Service

Agreement

These terms apply to plumbing and water heater services provided by Polis Plumbing Inc (CSLB Lic. #1057590) and to the use of this website. By requesting service or using this site, you agree to them.

Estimates and pricing

Estimates are provided before work begins and are based on the conditions visible at the time of inspection. Hidden conditions — concealed leaks, code issues, corroded or non-standard materials — may require a revised estimate, which we will review with you for approval before continuing.

Scheduling and cancellations

Appointment windows are estimates and may shift due to emergencies, permits, parts availability, or traffic. Please let us know as early as possible if you need to reschedule. Someone 18 or older must provide access to the work area at the scheduled time.

Payment

Payment is due upon completion unless otherwise agreed in writing. Invoices and receipts are provided electronically. Unpaid balances may be subject to late fees permitted by California law.

Workmanship and warranty

Our labor is warranted against defects in workmanship for the period stated on your invoice. Manufacturer warranties apply to equipment such as tank and tankless water heaters, filtration systems, and fixtures. Warranties do not cover misuse, neglect, freeze damage, water quality damage, work altered by others, or pre-existing conditions outside the scope of the job performed.

Customer responsibilities

• Provide safe, clear access to fixtures, appliances, and shutoff valves.
• Disclose known issues, prior repairs, and the location of utilities on site.
• Move valuables and fragile items away from the work area before we arrive.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim related to our services is limited to the amount paid for the service at issue. We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages. Nothing here limits rights you have under California contractors' law.
